Welcome to Technology!!

We are using today's technology to IMAGINE, DESIGN, and INNOVATE the possibilities of what we can create for the future.  You will also have the opportunity to participate in hands-on activities/projects that integrate the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math to interest and possibly prepare you for a path in those careers.  We will apply the knowledge you have gained to teach and help others as a team.

Technology Classes offered:

-STEAM 1 (6^th Grade Only, 9-week quarter)

·         Introduction class

-STEAM 2 (7^th and 8^th Grade Only, 18-week semester)

·         This program goes over multimedia integration and engineering to help students explore different paths.

-Robotics (7^th and 8^th Grade Only, Semester class)  

·         A class that will work on the basics of assembling robots for competition.

-KSPS (6th, 7th, and 8^th Grade, Year-long class)

• A program that incorporates Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) with an emphasis on arts.  Students are learning how to record a broadcast that is displayed live on YouTube for the school.

-PLTW (8^th Grade Only, Year-long class)

·         A program that incorporates Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) with an emphasis on Engineering
