Complete this week's weekly response by reading the following article.  This article appeared in last week's Time Magazine.  It is a letter written by a man suffering from ALS to the public about how he feels suffering from the disease and its recent fame due to the #icebucketchallenge. 
 
ALS is a debilitating disease that slowly shuts down the body, but leaves the person with cognitive functions. 
 
You need to only read the article, but I posted a link to the baseball player Lou Gehring's "luckiest man alive" speech that is mentioned in the article.  ALS is also known as Lou Gerhing's disease because he was the first prominent face of it.
